The moisturizer was rose-sCEnted due to the added concentrated rose cheek fragrance.
To test the moisturizing effect of the developed product, 15 volunteers with ages ranging from 18 to 25 years old were recruited to join the study. The five argan-containing moisturizer sErums were administered through single application.
Results of the study showed that different concentrations have different effects in increasing the skin moisture level. Formulation 3 which has 3% argan oil demonstrated a higher percentage of moisture rising. However, formulation 2 which contains 2% argan oil concentration has elicited the most satisfactory result when it comes to organoleptic, physicochemical, and stability components. Formulation 2 is found to be the best among the formulated moisturizers for having a stable and high moisturizer effect on the skin. Moreover, after 4 weeks of observation, the results showed that the moisturizer sErum was non-greasy and non-oily.
