Normally ztaying indoors due to your work-home routines. That’s fine. But have you ever considered exploring the outdoors to marvel at nature. That’s certainly helpful for well-being. Can you see yourself as an individual who loves nature exploring outside?
Flowery fields offer a dreamy effect. Hence flower farms is one of the favorite destinations among those who enjoy taking pictures with a dreamy background.
Going there
To reach Sirao Garden, you would have to go to an uphill location. It is a flower farm located in the mountain village of Sirao, hence its name. Since it is hours away from the main city, some would suggest hiring ‘habal-habal to avoid the stressful commute. In my case, I got here by private car since it is part of my private tour in Cebu. Meanwhile, as soon as you ascended the sloppy mountain roads, enjoy the ride and look at the views, in a little while, you’ll see a strip of sari-sari on both sides of the road. This will serve as the hint that you are already near the gate of the pictorial garden.
Features of the Pictorial Garden
On its facade, you would see that it bears the name Sirao Pictorial Garden and Camping Site. Keep in mind that there are two Sirao Gardens which are the original Sirao Flower Garden and the Sirao Pictorial Garden and Camping Site. The first one is focused on being a flower farm while the latter is a resort with a swimming pool, fountains, camping grounds, and lots of Instagram-worthy spots.
Since we came in the morning, the place was still not crowded. I was able to catch the sunrise in the flowery fields which allowed me to have a good view of it. Aside from the flowers, the gardens are teeming with unique and eye-catching attractions such as the Bali-inspired swings, a pool at the top of the mountain, giant LOVE, hanging hats, floating umbrellas, hanging ‘kubos’ or tree houses, ‘Pinas Tore’ windmill replicas, Bali-inspired big nest and the giant hands. With all these features combined with the flowery fields and mountains as the backdrop, you would expect that any photographer or any Instagrammer would see this as a perfect photoshoot paradise.
Photo Session
When you visit this pictorial garden, take lots of photos, after all, it is what it is intended for. I have not really visited this place to have selfie pictures but to appreciate the view, sit for a while, and enjoy the cool breeze. Beyond that, this garden has also allowed me to enjoy floral photography of blooming flowers such as the celosia, flora hyacinths, dwarf sunflowers, marigolds, and cosmos.
Despite that your goal for visiting this garden is flower admiration, it’s also good to take lots of your own pictures. Being a pictorial garden, it will surely permit you to have good souvenir pictures with a nice flowery background.
