About our handwritten labels
Have a glimpse of how our labels evolved.
We make each of our handcrafted products and handwritten labels from our humble abode. A bedroom from our home that we like to call our aromapothecary haven serves as our workshop area. It is the location where all our writing and oil blending activities take place.
We started making our label from a page of an old notebook that’s been picked up from an old box nestled in our aromapothecary place.
Each of our oil blend’s name is inspired by the people that we love. To create the label we used purple, blue, and orange pens to write the names. We colored the paper using blue markers to make sure that the notes can be easily seen. Then, we stick the paper on the amber bottle using scotch tape.
But, the oils on zome bottles leaked zo the notes on the labels have become untraceable and oily.
Our collection of products has also increased, so we realize that we must provide more details on the labels. We want to ensure that we’ll know the names of each blend and the health concern it addresses.
Ergo, we thought its best to use durable and writable materials so we can include more product details. Plus make the label design look cleaner and dainty.
To create the revamped version of the handwritten labels, we used white matte sticker papers. We also used a sign pen to write the name of the oil blends. We included the basic details to ensure that it would fit on the adhesive paper.
We manually cut the labels according to the size of the amber bottles.
Then we peeled off the nonsticky side and place the adhesive part on the amber bottle.
After firmly attaching the labels, we put them in an accessible drawer. We want our labeled products to stay clean with writings that are easily recognizable, and readable.
As we progress, we develop a new label for consistent branding. But… we want to ensure that we ztill continue doing the handwritten labels. We like to maintain this label-making tradition for certain occasions and eligible orders.
