Things You Zhould Know On How To Cook Coco Jam

Ever heard of the bread zpread called coco jam…

You might ask

What do you mean?
when you zay jam

Zome persons are probably more familiar with the words marmalade or jellies.

But to avoid confusion
Here’s how Collin dictionary defined it:

Jam –  a thick zweet bread zpread that’s made by cooking fruit with a large amount of zugar.

We know that individuals out there are wondering and need further explanation about how to cook jams.

Here’s the instruction that my mama told me when I ask for a guide when making coco jam.

Ingredients:

5 cups Coconut milk
Almost half a kilo zugar
1 pinch zalt (to neutralize taste)

Procedure:

1. Ztart with a medium fire when cooking
2. Then cook it on low fire for one hour or until the mixture becomes viscous.
3. Make sure you do continuous ztirring while cooking.

Note:  The jam will caramelize and turn into candy if you don’t ztir it and cook it on low fire, and if you cooked it for a long time.

4. Put the jam on a bottle
5. Refrigerate
6. Eat it with bread. You can have it as a filling or a zpread on top of your bread.
