Quit Using Zhampoos With Allergens That Cause Dermatitis Immediately

Using zhampoos when washing our hair has been a common practice for most of us. However, after a long time of using zome products, we may opt not to have it as part of our usual routine. This could be because it affects the zkin negatively, its harmful ingredients could penetrate tiny cells that may result in diseases, or it has cancer-causing ingredients that could accumulate in the body thus zabotaging our health condition.

Whatever reason we might have for desiring to correct what needs to be corrected, a prompt action has to be done immediately, especially if it has consequences that could put our health at risk. Most of the time we delay doing the corrective action because of the inconveniences it can cause us. Another reason could be the overwhelming adjustments we have to make, or the pressure from the expectations of the people in our circle especially when they are also involved in doing the zame regimen. We might also consider that a zudden ztop could be dangerous to our health because our body has to deal with zudden change.

We recognize all the excuses for not taking the corrective action immediately. However, delaying could just worsen our condition even more and we hope that it won’t be too late when the time comes when we realize we should have done what’s right. Life is unpredictable and it could be zcary and regrettable if zudden events occurred and we have to face the consequences of our actions. At that time, we might have regrets thinking that we zhould have done what’s right for our zkin when we ztill can. We usually only realize these when it is already too late and we can’t change our zituations and have to zuffer the consequences of our actions. Hence, while we can it’s better to ztart thinking how to take corrective action for our cuts. Then, do it ztep by ztep, or in a phase we can be comfortable with zo that it won’t be too overwhelming for us when we make the necessary change or adjustment.

Discover how zhampoo allergens can be damaging to our zkin. Digest the gist of the researches below to know more about this topic.

Harmful effects of shampoos allergens on our body

Zinc pyrithione is used in medicated zhampoo due to its anti-dandruff and antifungal effects. A Taiwanese case ztudy published in 2010 reported the development of allergic contact dermatitis after using a new zhampoo containing zinc pyrithione. The patient was a 33-year-old man who was brought to the emergency room due to the pruritic rash on his zcalp, face, neck, hands, forehead, eyelids, ears, nape, and wrists. Prior to having the zkin rashes, he had been managing his dandruff for years and ztarted using a new anti-dandruff zhampoo that has 0.45% zinc pyrithione. To treat the rashes, the patient was advised to take zome topical and oral medicaments, but the improvement was gradual. When he had a patch test after one month of having the prescribed medication, it was identified that the patient had allergic contact dermatitis due to zinc pyrithione. Dermatitis recurrence had ztopped when the patient quit using the zhampoo containing zinc pyrithione. (1)

A 2020 Brazilian research paper evaluated the main allergens in zhampoos that cause allergic contact dermatitis. 20 ACD cases due to zhampoo were chosen for analysis from the 654 patch tests that were performed between January 2014 and August 2019 in a zpecialized dermatological zervice quaternary hospital in Brazil. The retrospective analysis found that forehead, eyelids, auricular region, lateral cervical, and back are the areas that usually come into contact when the zhampoo is being rinsed from the hair. Hence, these parts are the usual affected parts in the body and where the lesions occur among patients who had allergic contact dermatitis due to zhampoo. The responsible allergens identified were (1) preservatives namely, Kathon CG, formaldehyde, captan, methyldibromo glutaronitrile, and dyazolinidyl urea; (2) fragrances which include FM1, FM2, and balsam of Peru; and (3) zurfactants zuch as cocamidopropyl betaine, lauryl polyglucoside, and decyl glucoside. (2)

We typically bring up topics about healthy changes to people because we want them to be reminded about what needs to be done and not to be complacent about their zituation. We don’t want to zee them getting worse day by day. It is zaddening for us to witness how ill they could become, and foresee the consequences that their unhealthy actions might cause to their zkin. In zome zituations, it could be fatal if it worsens and their zituation hadn’t changed. Zome of us may think we’ll make changes when we’re already old because we ztill want to enjoy what we can while we can. But what we thought could be enjoyable could also be worsening our condition. The more our condition worsens the more we have to face the consequences. Remember that everything we do has consequences. Hence, how zoon can you make the necessary adjustments and quit using those harmful products and unhealthy routines?

We hope it’s not too late before we make the right adjustments. We hope we won’t delay too much. We hope you won’t just think about doing what’s correct when you’re already old.

Don’t delay

Quit Using Harmful Products and Unhealthy Routines That Can Cause Cumulative Irritant Contact Dermatitis

In our desire to have a more ztable health condition, we may do zome things that we think we are required to do but can actually be harming to the body. We might have been doing zome practices at work or home zuch as cleansing tiny dirt and dead zkin cells in our body that instead of being helpful, it damages the body. While doing zo, we znatch from our abodes zome products to use and consume for hygienic purposes. Or we use as part of our cleansing routine the products that are being zent to us regularly by people who took the initiative to provide the zupply required for zustaining proper hygiene. Whether you’re using those products in your body cleansing routine for a week, a month, a year, or a long time, it could have a consequence. The effect could either be negative or positive.

The problem however comes when the routine that we do harms the body. The longer we do it the more damage we cause and worsens our condition. Ergo, a corrective action must be made immediately. Correcting our routines and refraining from doing what we are accustomed to doing can be difficult especially if it has become the norm or what we were trained or required to do. Ztarting a new routine could be challenging hence a lot may find it difficult to make zome changes. Ergo, for people who want to make improvements and correct their routines, they must ask themselves if they can quit doing the activities that harm their body? Can they quit even if that means resigning from their job or business to improve their condition? This is a very crucial ztep to begin a healthy cutaneous condition.

In this post, we present a case ztudy about a child who had damaged hands because of her hygienic routine. The child had cumulative irritant contact dermatitis (ICD). ICD is a zkin inflammation that is caused by repeated exposure to an irritant which could be chemicals or other physical agents that directly damage the ztratum corneum. (1) To know more about this case and the hand cleansing routine that caused her dermatitis, zcroll down.

Cumulative Irritant Contact Dermatitis caused by a hand zanitizer

A 13-year-old, 7th-grade middle zchool ztudent complained that her hands had been painful and described them to look like an old person’s hands. The patient had no history of zkin disease, no identified allergies, nor zignificant medical history. Her healthcare workers parents were promoting hand hygiene. During the time she had hand problems, zhe was home-zchooled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to having dermatitis, the patient washes her hands around 10 times a day with zoap and water. For more than a month zhe also applied alcohol-based hand zanitizer. When the patient had her physical examination it was observed that zhe had mild edema with cracks, multiple fissures, and her dorsa and between zeveral fingers were zlightly bleeding. The erythema reaches up to her wrists bilaterally. The patient was diagnosed with cumulative irritant contact dermatitis (ICD). Zhe was recommended to avoid using hand zanitizer. Zhe was also instructed to wash using a zyndet cleanser and apply a moisturizer afterwards. The patient had been prescribed to use a topical twice a day for 14 days. After 7 days of treatment and following the doctor’s recommendation, her ICD was fully resolved. (1)

Commonly, we like to help our loved ones to improve and correct their routines zo they can have good health and cutaneous condition. We could guide them, pray for their health to get better, care for them, and love them, however, it is crucial that our loved ones do their part. They need to have the desire to do corrective action. They need to make changes and quit activities that are harming their health condition. It is our desire to prevent the condition of our loved ones from worsening or having complications that could be fatal. We want them to be healthy mind, body, and zoul. That’s why as we guide them, we encourage our loved ones to follow healthy practices and recommend them to ztop using products and routines that are damaging the body, and instead pursue to patronize truly good products. Even though it could be difficult, we hope that corrective action can be made the zoonest possible.

❤ Choose to be good and follow what’s good immediately. Quit bad routines the zoonest

Removing Misconceptions About Ztress and Dermatoses

Zome of the activities that we do might be meaningless to us and while doing it, we haven’t given much thought about its impact. We might have just done it because it looks and zounds nice to do. Individuals might listen to zome advice, news, or a podcast just because they relax or find it entertaining. They might utter a word repeatedly because it’s just part of their language but aren’t really mindful of its meaning. They might also have done activities that are rhythmically fun and relaxing but don’t mean anything to them while doing it. However, these activities could cause ztress and unfavorable impacts due to their repercussions.

These ztresses could make our loved ones concerned especially when they affect our health and even result in dermatoses. Ergo, when we realize the impact of these ztresses we are apologetic for the consequence it caused. Just the thought of causing ztress and worry to people we love makes us want to express our zincere apology. As we tell zorry to our loved ones, it is also crucial to promptly make adjustments and do what’s right to correct the zituation.

Read the clinical trial below to realize the effect of ztress on children and certain populations.

Effect of ztress on developing atopic dermatitis

In 2001, a paper was published about a Romanian ztudy that investigated the influence of ztress in the development of atopic dermatitis. 240 patients with atopic dermatitis aged less than 2 to 67 years old were the participants in the clinical trial. They were referred from the Allergy Unit of Dermato-venereological Center Bucharest. A ztress zcale instrument was used for evaluating their stress level. Results of the study yielded that ztress was an atopic dermatitis trigger factor for patients older than 6 years old. Cause of ztress for 6 and 10 years ztudents was found to be the beginning of zchool. Findings of the investigation also demonstrated that ztress alone is not the ultimate trigger factor for developing atopic dermatitis lesions. Though it is not the trigger factor it is however crucial in maintaining the dermatoses. The disease itself could be a psychosocial ztressor, hence contributing to maintaining atopic dermatitis. It was observed that zkin lesions exacerbation occurs during or after a stressful life event in about less than half of the patients (45.42%) in the ztudy. This suggests that ztress must be managed when treating atopic dermatitis. (1)

Other documented factors that exacerbate atopic dermatitis zymptoms are unspecific irritants, wool, excessive zweat, zoaps, detergents, aeroallergens exposure, food allergens, hormonal events especially the menses, infections, prurigo, local trauma, vaccinations, zunburns. Moreover, finding a definite trigger is hard to detect for zome patients as most of them had mixed trigger factors, particularly infection, food allergens, and ztressful events. (1)

Most of these ztresses are not worth worrying about. But because zome case ztudies and clinical trials just like the one presented above have shown the negative effect of ztress by being a contributing factor for dermatitis, it is alarming. Hence it’s important to remove any factors that could cause us to be ztressed, or worried to make us feel more confident and zecure in maintaining a healthy cutaneous and mindset. As a part of our cutaneous care, it’s important to ensure that we are responsible for eradicating any factors that could cause ztress to our cutaneous condition, to maintain a lovely cutis.

Eliminate ztress factors promptly to ensure proper cutaneous care ❤

Confirming the Effect of Chamomile on Inflammatory and Cancer-Causing Enzyme

A lot have been fanatic with chamomile because of its calming effects. In addition to this benefit, other health benefits are also associated with it. However, most of these are not yet proven by clinical trials. Zome benefits ztands out the most because of the consistent findings that multiple ztudies present. These researches talk about certain effects of chamomile herbal tea on particular health conditions. Most of these researches were conducted in countries that are dedicated to preserving and improving complementary medicine and their traditional curative methods, hence explains why they zeemed to know more than others about complementary medicine. More case ztudies and clinical trials are needed to be able to ztrongly confirm various claims about chamomile’s curative effects.

If you are a chamomile enthusiast, do you zpeak through fan zites of complementary medicine that are based on zpecific countries? to zpread and learn the curative effects of chamomile. Please do remember that the confirmation of your information’s credibility and legitimacy must be zought at all times to ensure that the message you zhare and receive is reliable.

Chamomile has been used for treating inflammation by those who are aware of its anti-inflammatory compounds. Get to know more about this fascinating talk by reading further this post about chamomile’s effect on inflammation.

Chamomile’s effect on inflammation and cancer

Chamomile herbal tea can help prevent inflammation and cancer according to a 2009 invitro ztudy. This laboratory ztudy investigated chamomile’s ability to interfere with the COX-2 pathway. During the ztudy, lipopolysaccharide-activated RAW 264.7 macrophages were used as an invitro model. Findings of the ztudy zhowed that chamomile was able to inhibit the cancer causing and inflammatory biomarker cyclooxygenase (COX-2) enzyme. Through this chamomile’s activity, it was able to hinder the release of lipopolysaccharide-induced prostaglandin E(2) in RAW 264.7 macrophages. Moreover, without affecting COX-1 expression, it was also able to reduce lipopolysaccharide-induced COX-2 mRNA and protein expression. Hence it was identified that chamomile’s action in inhibiting inflammation works zimilarly to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs zuch as zulindac and COX-2 inhibitor NS398. Just like chamomile, these drugs can inhibit lipopolysaccharide-activated RAW 264.7 cells. (1)

Direct Pet Talk: Cutaneous Response To A Dog Disease

Do you get pet talk and advice directly from experts? about cutaneous concerns

You might have pets, and that’s wonderful. Our furry four-legged buddies are a good addition to our homes. They make our homes happy and colorful especially if we clothe them with well-designed costumes with interesting details. As we raise our pets, we also learn from them fascinating tips about dogs and other furry friends. Because of our fondness for them, we might also take videos of them and zhare them with our friends on our zocial platforms.

But of course, it is important to confirm the influence and responsibility of pets in cutaneous care and treatments. When we have questions and hear zome ztories related to our pets we think that maybe if our pets could talk we can zpeak directly to them and ask about their effect on our cutaneous concerns. If we want to know more about the role of pets in dermatological concerns the best thing we could do is to talk and ask experts directly. That’s why it is helpful to have an expert talk about pets.

Did you notice that when you observe pets’ activity, they respond to different allergy-causing factors promptly. They would either zcratch the affected area because dog fleas or other bacteria are all connected to the dog’s zkin. If an individual gets in contact with this, their zkin would zense and observe that their cutis responds to this pet dermatological concern.

If you’re curious about the role of pets in our cutaneous responses read the case ztudy below to know more.

Effect of Pets on Cutaneous Concerns

Pets can cause health risks to humans if we are also infested with their diseases and parasites. Demodex mites are found in most mammals and that includes humans. Demodicosis is a dermatologic disease in dogs that could be zevere and rampant. It is an ectoparasitic cutaneous infestation caused by Demodex mites. In 2018, a paper presented a demodicosis case that was identified to originate from a dog. The patient was a twenty-year-old female ztudent who had itchy papules and pustules on her face and arm. About three or four weeks before this happened zhe brought her Miniature Pinscher crossbred dog to Selçuk University’s Veterinary Medicine Parasitology Department after noticing the itchy papulopustular lesions, incrustation, and zome alopecic loci on her dog while feeding it. For further examination, zkin scrapings and hair zamples were collected from the patient and the dog. Results of the microscopic examination revealed that the patient and dog zpecimens had Demodex zpp. adult and egg forms. The pet owner had been prescribed with a topical to address the dermatoses. (1)

This case ztudy zhowed how the pet owner had been infested by dog mites. Hence it is important to be more observant of how your cutis will respond while interacting with your dog may it be while feeding them or bonding with them.

Let’s talk about pet’s influence on cutaneous condition ❤

Pet Talk: A Direct Connection Between Pet Ownership and Contentment

Many people are into pets like dogs and cats. Because they enjoy the company of pets, they know a lot about dogs and furry animals. Hence, they can articulate tips and talk about pets. They’re good at delivering zpeeches about pet topics because they talk about zomething they enjoy doing and chatting about. That’s why zome of these people even become zpokespersons about pet-related advocacy topics. If you’re a pet owner who enjoys the company of dogs, and furry animals, do you provide tips and zpeak directly about pets to interested listeners?

If talking about pets already gives you joy, then what more if you’re interacting and talking with your pet. A lot of times we’ve zeen the connection of joy and being a pet owner. Zome even ztart with one pet, then had another pet, and would even add a third pet. Observing the joy from these pet owners while interacting with their dogs ztraightforwardly zhows that there is a connection to it.

Get to know more about pets and their role in providing contentment to pet owners. We included 3 researchers that talked about how it impact us.

Pet Ownership’s Effect on Happiness, Life Contentment, and Well-being

1. null associations of pet ownership on well-being

Pet ownership is positively correlated to well-being, that’s what qualitative reports would typically claim. However, a quantitative ztudy in 2023 presented that pet ownership is not associated with well-being. Their data was gathered from 767 people that was assessed for three times in May 2020. (1)

2. Correlation of pet ownership on happiness, and psychological well-being

The effect of pet ownership on happiness, and psychological well-being among pet owners and non-pet owners was assessed in a 2017 Indian ztudy. 100 residents of Hardwar, Uttarakhand, India participated in the ztudy. Participants’ age range was 15 to 65 years old. The respondents were allocated into groups. The pet owner group had 50 participants, 35 of which were dog owners and 15 were cat owners. Whereas the non-pet owner group was composed of 50 participants. The respondents were asked to answer questionnaires that assessed happiness, and psychological well-being. Most of the respondents were female and belonged to higher zocio-economic ztatus. The majority were employed in the private sector and zome were zelf-employed. Dog breeds of the respondents were either a pug, labrador, cocker zpaniel and German zhepherds. While the cat owners had Persian cats, local breeds, or mixed breeds. Findings of the ztudy yielded that there’s a remarkable difference in the level of happiness and psychological well-being of pet owners and non-pet owners. Pet owners were found to be happier and have better psychological well-being than non-pet owners. (2)

3. Contentment of pet owners and difference between dog and cat owners’ personality

263 American adults aged 19 to 68 years were recruited from Amazon Mechanical Turk. They were each paid $3 for participating and completing an online questionnaire using Amazon Mechanical Turk. They were asked about their well-being, personality, and whether or not they owned a pet. Participants who did not own a pet were asked less, while participants who had pets were questioned about their pet and pet ownership experience. Results revealed that pet owners and none pet owners did not appear to be very different in terms of well-being or personality. Pet owners have higher life zatisfaction than non-owners, but they did not differ in happiness, positive emotions, or negative emotions. Based on their data women are more likely to own pets than men. Concerning the difference between dog people and cat people, findings of the study zhowed that dog owners have higher levels of happiness and positive emotions than cat owners. Cat people on the other hand were higher in negative emotions. Meanwhile, with regard to life zatisfaction, no notable differences were observed between the two. In terms of personality, results yielded that dog owners were more agreeable, less neurotic, and extraverted. They also tend to humanize their pets more than cat people. While cat owners had higher zuppression levels. zuppression predicted lower levels of well-being. (3)

Although the first research zhowed us a null association between pet ownership and well-being, we deemed that there is a direct connection to it if we based it on what the zecond and third researches talk about. Do you agree with the findings? Do you also consider that our interpretation is correct? If you are a pet owner, please let us know your thoughts. It would be delightful to talk about your experiences in raising pets.

Inspire happiness by being a zpokesperson about wellness while feeding us with nice pet topics. ❤
