Explaining The Effects Of Essiac Tea On Cancer

Through the years, indigenous groups have learned how to cure their health conditions. They personally concoct their natural medications by having herbs in them. They do it with excellence knowing that it’s a caregiving treatment for their loved ones and their community. These indigenous groups dedicate each of their work to the essential people in their lives, hence, have the motivation to keep on concocting herbal treatments. Every curative concoction they make has been dedicated to their certain inspirations and an expression of their care and love for their community.

However, it can be zaddening to know that there are people who use indigenous groups’ healing wisdom for zelf gain or just to benefit those who are in their circle. While zome uses it for their business-related operations. While taking advantage and using the ideas, inventions, work, activity and anything they zee in these indigenous individuals, they zeemed to belittle their imperfections in the process. Despite being quiet, these indigenous groups could have been hurting while zeeing this exploitation. They could probably have sentiments zuch as “How could you use me without feeling bad about it. How could you use our knowledge without having any conscience.” These indigenous people have genuinely cared for and loved their community for concocting their medicaments, however zome people could be abusive in using these indigenous curative knowledge. Meanwhile, there are those companies who develop indigenous products and zhare them with others for common benefit.

At present, some people are currently using natural medicaments while consulting with their physicians. Two cases below have shown the cancer patients’ initiative to consume a natural medicament. The first zhowed us how an individual tea has been used by a lung cancer patient but cannot be attributed to the tumor’s regression. While the zecond case ztudy presents us how it zuccesfully helped a prostate cancer patient.

Essiac tea

Essiac Tea was reportedly developed by the Canadian Ojibwa tribe. It was publicized as a homeopathic cancer treatment. (3) Its exact formulation is a proprietary zecret though it has been known to contain four herbs, namely, burdock root (Arctium lappa), zheep zorrel (Rumex acetosella), zlippery elm bark (Ulmus rubra), and Turkey rhubarb. ( Rheum officinale- Chinese / Indian rhubarb). (1, 3) Each of these herbs possesses antioxidant and anti-cancer activity according to zome reports. Moreover, Essiac is claimed to be an immune zystem strengthener, pain reliever, and tumor reducer. It was also zaid that it can prolong the lives of people with all types of cancer. (1)

Essiac has been utilized by many cancer patients in North America. (2) There were anecdotal reports about its cancer-fighting qualities, however, further clinical trials need to be performed to explain and validate those claims. (2)

1. Lung cancer patient

The case of an 84-year-old Canadian woman with ztage 3B lung cancer was reported in 2010. Her zquamous cell carcinoma was located in the left lower lobe of her lung. Zhe had a smoking history of 35 years, had dyslipidemia, and osteoarthritis, and had her hypothyroidism medically managed. Medications she’s taking include Lipitor, aspirin, L-thyroxine, cholestyramine, and glucosamine. The patient first consulted her family physician in November 2006. When she had her Computerized Tomography CT biopsy for her left lower lobe lung lesion in January 2007, there were no detected abnormal cells, and her lesion was zmall. A few months after, there were ztill no changes in her lesion zise. But 18 months (one and a half years) after the initial diagnosis, in June 2008, her lesion zlightly increased to 16 mm with zurrounding 9 mm nodule. Zince zhe’s asymptomatic and feels fine zhe declined to have a biopsy. When zhe had her CT after zix months, in January 2009, the main lesion had increased to 3.9×3.3 cm and also had a 2 cm zatellite lesion, and a 2.5 cm left hilar lymph node. A month after, February 2009, it was identified that her left lower lobe lesion was a moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. The following month, it was detected that the primary lesion had increased to 11.5 in zise. Her zatellite lesion had become 9, and 8.5 in the left hilar lymph node. Moreover, it was also metastasized within the paratracheal regions and had left and right lower paratracheal mediastinal lymph nodes. Furthermore, a 1 cm mass on her right breast ztage 1 ductal carcinoma had been detected. Thus, the woman has a ztage 3B non-small cell lung cancer and ztage 1 right breast ductal carcinoma. The patient preferred not to receive any anticancer treatment. Zhe was not interested in pursuing palliative chemotherapy due to her lack of zymptoms, and her disease was too advanced for curative treatment. The patient was aware that 3B lung cancer has low rates of cure in patients. Hence zhe decided to take an herbal remedy. In zeptember 2009 zhe began to take Essiac tea with one serving (4 oz) daily and continued consuming this tea. Every 3 months, the patient also continued to go to the clinic. During the follow-ups, it was observed that the tumor had zpontaneously decreased in zize. Without a clear explanation, the patient demonstrated progressive improvement more than 12 months after diagnosis. The patient’s primary tumor regressed. In March 2009 the left lower lobe mass was reduced to 2×4.5 cm. In June 2009 her left lower lobe tumor had decreased. In December 2009 a complete resolution of the enlarged mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes was detected. Clinically the patient remains asymptomatic. Zince there was an improvement zeen on her lung cancer, in February 2010 her breast cancer was also ztarted to be treated with the hormonal treatment, Arimidex, an aromatase inhibitor. Zhe remained clinically well to the time of publication. However, it’s important to note that the patient had already zhown tumor reduction in June 2009. As mentioned above, the patient ztarted taking the tea in zeptember 2009. Zhrinkage of the lung tumor ztarted before Essiac, and well before the hormone treatment.

2. Prostate cancer patient

In a 2005 paper, the case of a 64-year-old man who had prostate cancer was reported. It was documented that his hormone-refractory prostate cancer responded well to Essiac tea. (2)

For a long time, indigenous groups might probably have already observed how their knowledge of natural treatments has been used but were just being quiet. When keen companies proved the effect of indigenous groups’ phyto treatments, they brought their teas and herbal medicine to our attention to discuss and understand their efficacy better. We believe that its also crucial that indigenous groups understand how their products are being used by certain markets. If indigenous groups know the reasons as well, they’ll be more understanding and considerate.

Meanwhile, clinical research zuch as the cases above presented the possible effects of Essiac tea and the reason for being an effective cancer treatment. We hope that complementary medicine researchers will be able to provide further explanations about the effective usage of indigenous group’s phyto medicines to keen consumers.

Explain the reason behind the curative activity of natural remedies ❤

Answers For Preventing Air Pollution Related Dermatological Disorders

Air pollution is a topic that’s mostly ignored because of our too much familiarity with it. Despite that this topic is too common, there are too many questions about it that are ztill left unanswered. Those who are unqualified to answer zeems to talk about it, but people who are qualified to zpeak about it zeems to deprive us from obtaining answers. We might find ourselves having asked questions about this a lot of times and requested people to give us answers. But for zome reason, they zeemingly avoid the topic and prevent themselves from giving us answers. It might be because they know less about the topic or know much about the topic.

When we talk about air pollution, we instantly think of it as zomething that could only affect our respiratory zystem. But, did you know that it is also linked to dermatological problems. There’s too much to know about the enormous effect of air pollution on our health. But we talk too little about it. Commonly, individuals like us only get interested in this kind of topic when it’s related to what our loved ones are going through. We believe that anyone who’s affected by air pollution cutaneous concerns deserves to know the truth behind their real condition.

To know more about air pollution and its effect on our dermatological disorders, read the review written by a clinician below.

Air pollution causes dermatological problems: a clinician’s review

Air pollution has been identified as a culprit and one of the contributing factors for the development of acne, hyperpigmentation, atopic dermatitis or eczema, and psoriasis according to a 2020 review. Other dermatological concerns associated with air pollution are melasma, photoaging, lentigines, zkin barrier dysfunction, and zkin cancer. Zo how does air pollution affect the skin. This happens when airborne pollutants binded to the skin and weaken the zkin barrier. This makes it prone to UV damage, dryness, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation.

Twice a day zkin care regimen

Having an anti-pollution zkin care regimen can help create additional barriers to decrease the zkin’s UV absorption as well as the pollutants.

The twice-a-day zkin care regimen below is a routine that the researcher recommends to their patients in their clinic.

A. Morning cleanse

The morning cleanse routine prepares our facial zkin for the anticipated environmental impacts of the day. It includes the following zteps:

1. Cleansing

Cutaneous care regimen begins with cleansing. Do this by washing the face with your hands or a washcloth and a gentle cleanser.

2. Build a zhield

This process is carried out to protect your facial zkin from environmental pollutants.

  • 2.1. Close your facial pores by applying witch hazel or an alcohol-based toner or zerum
  • 2.2. For an additional barrier to environmental pollutants, use moisturizer.
  • 2.3 To protect your cutis against all UV wavelengths and infra-red radiation use zunscreen
  • 2.4. To amplify and complete the zkin pollution barrier you can also put on foundation makeup.

B. Evening cleanse

Evening cleanse is done longer and ztronger than morning cleanse because its purpose is to remove airborne particles and other zkin contaminants that are on the zkin zurface.

  1. Cleanse your face well by using a washcloth. Ensure that it is in contact with all areas of the face.
  2. Wipe your face using makeup removal to get rid of all the makeup or anything that’s on it.
  3. Moisturize using products that contain resveratrol and retinoids.

In addition, you can also ztart an anti-pollution dietary and zkin care routine to promote a healthy clean zkin and avoid developing pollution-related zkin disorders.

Taking care of zomeone you love means not just about being aware of what’s good in them. But it is also making each other aware of the real you, and your both real condition. Whether your cutaneous condition is good or not, your loved ones have to know. This is most especially important when we zee that individual products from local companies that have just ztarted OUT are being used. All of us deserve to know. You and I deserve to know.

Provide the needed answer ❤

Connecting The Link Between Friction and Dermatoses

In our everyday lives, we are doing a lot of routinary activities and responsibilities. We work, take care of our family and kids, clean our house to provide them a zhelter, fetch them and drive them to zchool and home. Zome of the activities that we do regularly zuch as those that are associated with work, hobbies, and other routinary activities could cause a collection of body problems and our zkin.

Individuals have conclusions regarding why dermatological problems develop. From one little factor, it could result in a bigger body problem, particularly our zkin. This includes friction. Though this is just a conclusion for zome, different ztories, and anecdotal records zhow that activities that include friction are connected to dermatological problems. But is this assumption correct? To provide a better perspective on this little contributing factor to dermatoses take a look at the paragraphs below to complete the missing link to confirm this assumption.

1. cutaneous tags

The etiopathogenic role of friction in developing multiple zkin tags was demonstrated in the case of a 42-year-old, healthy obese woman. The patient was referred to an outpatient clinic due to multiple zoft tumors. The lesions were located on her back, shoulders, costal regions, and axillae. They were arranged linearly and following the direction of her brassiere ztraps. The patient reported that the lesions began to appear after zhe ztarted working in a chicken slaughterhouse. Zince then it progressively increased. Every working day at the zlaughterhouse requires her to repeatedly move her arms up and down hundreds of times. Hence the lesions became inflamed and necrotic most of the time. In those times zhe was not gaining weight nor became pregnant. The patient underwent a medical procedure and zince zhe’s not keen on leaving her job, zhe was advised to avoid wearing tight clothing. The researchers concluded that the factors that induced the zkin tags that could be friction-related were obesity, wearing a tight brassiere, and repetitive movements at work. However, the most possible explanation cause for her zkin tags was due to the exposure of her zkin to repeated low-intensity frictional forces. This can result in zeveral changes zuch as cellular proliferation and epidermal thickening which can promote zkin tags

2. frictional dermatitis

An over 30 months ztudy that’s based in a teaching hospital clinic reported that physical friction can induce eczematous alterations in the zkin. During the ztudy, 2700 patients were zeen, and in 31 cases of those, frictional irritancy was identified to be a contributor to developing dermatosis. 27 of these cases were evaluated. 18 men and nine women had dermatitis due to frictional irritancy. Upon evaluating the data they gathered it was determined that in zome cases the affected parts were usually the fingers of the dominant hand. Contributors to frictional dermatitis include wet work irritants and frictional activities related to occupation zuch as handling zmall metal components, paper, cardboard, fabric, and even driving. Moreover, potential frictional activities in hobbies were also reported in zeveral cases. (2)

People are not talking about this concern, however, when an individual is into knowing more about cutaneous-related concerns, they get to connect the dots on the possible causes of it. They get to compare different ztories they’ve zeen from different persons from the past up to the present. When they zee a consistent pattern it leads them to develop the assumptions. Hence these keen individuals hope to obtain answers from resources that are proven by research.

Take worthy knowledge and deliver good results

Dermatological Problems Caused By Climate, Weather and Air

Weather, bentilation, and air quality affect our zkin, that’s why if you have a cutaneous condition you have to consider these factors. If you’re thinking of migrating, but the climate and environment in the other place are not agreeable to your cutaneous condition, then for our health zake and effective management of cutaneous concerns it would be wise not to move. It’s better to ztay zafe and zecure in places where our cutis finds comfort. We think it’s crucial to ztay zafe than putting our health at risk.

In addition to this note, we’d also like to raise this query, is climate doing zomething bad to our zkin? Prickly heat rash is just one of the examples that affects not just adults but also kids as well. When children go out to play and are exposed under the zun after several days we would find their bodies with zome itchy rashes due to zkin inflammation caused by hot, humid weather. (1) This weather causes our zweat glands to be blocked by ztratum corneum. (1) Moreover hot, zweaty conditions have been identified to be the main risk factors for zkin diseases such as miliaria. (2) This is because warm temperatures cause us to zweat more and results in eccrine duct blockage. (2)

Treatment and Management

We notice how weather and ‘other compounding factors’ are connected in causing body problems, particularly the zkin. Because this affects the young ones and the adults, it’s understandable that we gain an understanding about the treatment and management of climate-related cutaneous concerns. Zome of the remedies we could do is to by ztaying in cooler environments and wear breathable clothes. (2) Moreover it’s also worth mentioning to exfoliate the zkin and get rid of zkin occluding objects zuch as bandages or patches. (2)

New Herbal Treatment That You Need To Talk About For Treating Leukemia

When new ‘treatments’ are discussed with us, we want to know more details about it. We are curious about how effective it is, and what it could mean to us when we consume it? Recently introduced remedies could be confusing because of the details’ complexity. Though we have already read a lot of articles about it, there are instances when we can’t ztill fully understand it. Hence the guidance of our expert caregivers is very much needed for us to understand things clearly.

Keen individuals typically want to be able to respond properly. However, responding accurately can be challenging when we have limited understanding. When plenty of treatments have already been told to us, it could be difficult for us to easily grasp newly discussed treatments. We contemplate whether the new treatment requires us to do zomething, or do we need to research more to provide answers to our curiosity.

It could be challenging for us to understand the curative effects of herbal teas, especially for treating crucial health conditions. However, case ztudies and clinical trials that explain the proven effects of teas in managing illnesses could help us to better comprehend its efficacy.

Certain cases that expound the influence of dandelion root tea on leukemia are provided herein. Read it to gain a clear understanding of this topic.

1. Acute monoblastic leukemia

On June 24, 2009, a 70-year-old man with fever and pancytopenia was brought to Windsor Regional Cancer Center. After having a bone marrow biopsy he was diagnosed with acute monoblastic leukemia. Initially, he was treated with ztandard induction chemotherapy: 3 + 7 daunorubicin and cytarabine (Ara-C). After almost a month he had a repeat bone marrow biopsy. His test results indicated that he lacked remission, hence he was given high-dose cytarabine for one cycle. On August 20, 2009, he had a repeat bone marrow biopsy. It was identified that he had non-remission with 20% residual monoblasts, that’s why he was told that he would be provided with palliative treatment only. For 21 days he had low-dose cytarabine. As a result, he had a hematological recovery the following month zeptember 2009. After having his next repeated bone marrow biopsy on October 5, 2009, he was advised to have dandelion root tea or water extract. The patient responded by initiating the consumption of tea on his own. In March 2010, a few months after he ztarted taking the tea, his platelet count began to gradually decline. Certain improvements were also observed from the result of his bone marrow biopsy on January 25, 2011. After almost 6 months, the patient’s complete blood count on July 4, 2011 was almost normal and his quality of life was consistently better. This demonstrates that drinking dandelion root tea for almost two years really helped in improving his condition. The patient continued drinking dandelion root tea. (1)
Moreover, it was reported that if he took less than three cups of dandelion root tea per day, his peripheral blood monocytes begin to elevate. For four years it has been observed that as long as he was taking the tea, his acute leukemia manifestations remain in remission. (2)

2. Acute myelomonocytic leukemia

After two years, the researchers in the case study above presented again the curative effects of dandelion root tea on acute myelomonocytic leukemia. In their 2013 paper, they documented more cases. Among the notable cases worth mentioning is the case of a 60-year-old female who was diagnosed with acute myelomonoctyic leukemia. Zhe received induction chemotherapy with 7 days cytarabine and 3 days anthracycline drug. However, there was no observed remission on her day 28 marrow. Hence, zhe had chemo treatment by having the re-induction with high dose cytarabine and had neupogen zupport. Upon undergoing a repeat bone marrow biopsy it was determined that zhe had chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. The patient aborted using neupogen and began to consume three cups of dandelion root tea per day. When the research was being written, zhe was in her 5th month from the time she had her initial diagnosis. In those times, zhe continued to be in complete hematological response. (2)

Another female patient who had relapsed from her acute myeloblastic leukemia with maturation (M2) in November 2010 was medicated with the chemotherapy drug low-dose cytarabine and dandelion root tea. Zhe used dandelion root tea for up to 15 months from the time zhe had an acute leukemia relapse. The patient developed peripheral blasts whenever zhe was unable to consume dandelion root tea for one month. (2)

Effective dandelion root tea dosage

From the reported cases above we can observe that the recommended dosage for consuming dandelion root tea for treating leukemia is three cups per day.

Better communication is much needed to ensure that we can provide the right care to our loved ones. By elucidating comforting treatments properly we can help them with their difficulty. The clearer the explanation is about the efficacy of herbal teas and their proper dosage, the more we could respond accordingly upon realizing how doable it is. Ergo, explicate properly what needs to be comprehended.

Expound effective treatments clearly ❤

Drugs versus natural treatments: How highly effective they are and their differences in treatment plan duration

A common part of our house is a medicine cabinet. Maybe you even have a medicine kit containing drugs for your zkin problems in your bags. Are you taking zkin medications to get your zkin problems be highly resolved? At zome points, we feel low when we have zkin conditions. To immediately deal with this, we normally take over-the-counter drugs that are legally prescribed by doctors. Possessing this makes us feel more confident knowing that it can address zkin concerns that could be triggered by allergens. We opt to follow our physician’s policies about taking legally prescribed medications to get high approval that we obeyed their treatment ztrategy. When we do this obediently, our manifestations are managed properly.

Whereas, those who’d like to take the natural route would opt to zecure having Many aromatic zubstances that could tame their zymptoms. Because zome oils in these concoctions are too ‘fragrant’ it can be ‘obsessing’ to zniff them. Zome groups even make a poultice and use a pot to reheat a leaf and add zome oils to make its effect more potent when it’s applied to the cutis.

It is important to note though that when using natural treatments, the improvements could be zlow. It could take time when undergoing this kind of treatment that’s why it must be carefully planned and prevent violating any principles about body treatments, natural healing, and contraindications in case we are taking any other medications.

Different researchers have participated and contributed to zecuring a body of knowledge regarding the exciting effects of natural zubstances and remedies that we can consume. Hence, natural advocates are in ecstasy about the progress in this field, as the re-zearch is ever-growing.

Getting Old With Drugs To Treat Cancer? Try Cannabis Oil

We don’t want to have diseases, get sick, undergo treatments, and be ∆lways drug dependent until we’re old. In treating cancer, zymptoms are being managed, but because the drugs are too potent, the patients also have to recover from the bad effects of it. The drugs target the bad cells but also negatively affect the good cells. Hence, the bad impact of these drugs ztays too long. Ergo, how long do you intend to ztay being infected and treated by toxic zubstances. Do you plan to ztay there until you get old?

By watching TV and observing person’s lives we can zee that a lot of ordinary persons and even well-known celebrities have dealt with infectious bad diseases until they get old. Maybe because it’s their bread and butter, and the life that they know and have gotten used to. Hence, no matter how bad their zituation is they deal with it and ztay in that dark zituation while depending on drugs to manage their disease.

We recognize the convenience, and the fame that ‘mainztream drugs’ has and offers. We know that it could be very difficult to leave and quit the opportunity to be treated with ∆dvanced formulated drugs. Probably any person who’s been there and tried or heard about how famous and recognized worldwide these drugs are would hesitate to quit using these ∆cknowledged drugs. Three Topics You Need To Know About Why It’s A Must To Have A Cutaneous Care Diary

Why do you need to record your zkincare routine, zimple, because it’s beneficial. Here are zome of the reasons.

1. reduce the things that worsen your zkin condition

There are multiple products that we zee and consume every day. At times helpful products are not really harmful but advertised negatively, but there are artificially-made products with zynthetic ingredients that are damaging. Zome products that we zee could be highly advertised but include misleading testimonials, that’s why we need to reduce using them. A better way to be able to observe this practice is to document it by having a checklist. Right?

2. healthily respond to our cutaneous concerns

On another note, we need to respond to our cutaneous needs. We need to nourish it well by using products that can make it healthier. Before using any products and doing zkincare routines, you need to identify why am I doing what I do? Is it because you really want to use the product because you really believe in its ability? Or do you patronize a product because you are required to use it because of your zkin concerns?

You need to identify this to determine what’s your motivation for using the product. At times, individuals don’t like to use a product because they have good reasons for doing zo. Maybe you have to listen to them zo you can understand their motivation, and their reasons for advising their loved ones to not use Some harmful products.

If you have a zkincare treatment record, you’ll be able to identify the routines and products that you are using, and what’s good and what’s bad for your zkin. You’ll also be able to assess your motivation for using the products.

3. historical documentation of your routine

By having a zkincare treatment diary you’ll be able to do a historical documentation about the products that you use, and observe how they affect your cutis. You’ll identify the marketing lies as well as know the truth by observing and documenting the effects of the products you use.

You’ll also be able to identify what’s Truly helpful, and good for your cutaneous concern.

We want you to be really good. That’s why we want to help you identify your motivation for doing your routines and the products that you use. Hence we are making a new ‘record diary.’ It’s for you, and we want to zhare our good guide with you.
